Sri:man Kida:mbi Ve:nkata:cha:rya Swa:mi

Among the Ubhaya Ve:da:ntha propagating Preceptors in the Thelugu speaking land, Sri:man Kida:mbi Ve:nkata:cha:rya Swa:mi is of a rare class. Swa:mi has taken birth to the blessed couple of U.Ve. Sri:ma:n Sri:niva:sa:cha:rya Swa:mi and Sri:mathi Ve:nkata Ra:ghavamma in Antharve:di Pa:lem, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. Swa:mi is the grandson of U.Ve. Sri:ma:n Kida:mbi Go:pa:la Krishnama:charyulu. Swa:mi is a great practioner of Ve:dic injunctions, a learned grammarian, and the royal poet of Nujividu province. Swa:mi's entire education proceeded in Nellore. Along with literature studies, Swa:mi has mastered the sciences such as Nya:ya, vya:karana and mima:msa at the 'Ve:da Samskrutha Pa:thasa:la'. In 1956, Swa:mi stood as topper among all the scholars in 'A:ndhra Viswa Kala: Parishath' and received gold medal. Later, Swa:mi earned M.A. degree in linguistics.

Under the auspices of 'Vya:karana Siro:mani' and 'Ubhaya Ve:da:ntha maha: vidva:n' Sri:ma:n Kida:mbi Narasimha:cha:rya and 'Ubhaya Veda:ntha maho:dadhi' Srima:n Kida:mbi Sri:niva:sa Ra:ma:nuja:cha:rya Swa:mi, this swami has mastered Veda:nthams of Sanskrit and Tamil and became Propagating Preceptor of Ubhaya Ve:da:ntha. Among his other teachers are BrahmaSri Ga:julapalli Hanumath Sa:sthri, Uda:li Subbara:ma Sa:sthri, Pushpagiri Ve:nkata Krushna Sarma, Thangira:la Sri:ra:ma Murthy.

Sri:ma:n Ve:nkata:cha:rya Swa:mi has begun his career as a sanskrit teacher in the Mission School of Narasapuram, and later served as Sanskrit Lecturer and head of the Department of Telugu for over four decades and has educated many students.

Combining experience with scholarship, Swa:mi has been acting as Resident Preceptor of 'A:di Ke:sava Emberuma:na:r temple'. Under Swa:mi's able leadership, the temple shines as another Sriperumbudur. To celebrate A:zhwa:r, Ra:ma:nuja Thirunakshathrams is the most delightful pastime of Sri Swa:mi. Currently Swa:mi is retired from Professional services. Swa:mi resides in Ko:vela Veedhi in Narasapuram, West Go:da:vari District. Staying at the divine residential mansion, Swa:mi is performing divine Services for the temple, and has been teaching scriptures to all the aspirants.
