Sri:man U.Ve. Sri: Bha:shyam Thirumala Ra:ma:nuja:cha:rya Swa:mi

Sri:man U.Ve. Sri:Bha:shyam Thirumala Ra:ma:nuja:cha:rya Swa:mi is a Ubhaya Ve:da:ntha Preceptor who has enjoyed and applied the sandal pulp from the garden of Sri: Go:pa:la De:sika's Ubhaya Ve:da:ntham. Swa:mi has taken birth from the blessed couple of U.Ve. Srima:n Sribha:shyam Ra:ghava:charyulu and Sri:mathi Rangamma. Sri Ku:rmam, a dear place for both Bhagavad Ra:ma:nuja and Sri Pedda Sri:manna:ra:yana Jeeyar Swami, is the birth place of the Swa:mi.

After finishing primary education, in the Temple's Sanskrit school, under the supervision of 'Vya:karana Siro:mani' Brahma Sri: A:dira:ju Ra:ma Mu:rthy, Swa:mi has learnt Ka:lida:sa Thrayam. Later, in SriRa:ma Theerthham temple's Sanskrit school, under the guidance of U.Ve. Sri:ma:n T.P. Ra:ma:nuja:cha:rya Swa:mi and U.Ve. Sri:ma:n N.K. Go:vindara:ja Bha:shyaka:ra:cha:rya Swa:mi, swa:mi has studied for some time. Later in Vijayanagara Maha:ra:ja Sanskrit School, Swa:mi has mastered linguistic skills such as ka:vya, na:taka, alanka:ra and literature. There, Swa:mi earned 'Bha:sha: Pravi:na' degree.

Later, Swami has joined as a Thelugu teacher in Sri:Ka:kulam Municipal School and then joined as a scholar in Government's Education department. In the end, Swa:mi retired from services as a senior lecturer.

Under the able teachings of U.Ve. Sri:man T.K. Go:pa:la:cha:rya Swa:mi, Swa:mi has learnt the meaning of Thirumanthra, Cofidential cryptic works, Geetha: Bha:shyam and Dra:vida Ve:dam. Swa:mi is very blessed also to have learnt Sri:Bha:shyam from 'Pravachana Siro:mani' Sri:ma:n U.Ve. Sri:Bha:shyam Appala:cha:rya Swami, who is a prime disciple of Sri:mad Go:pa:la:cha:rya Swa:mi.

Swa:mi has graced Sri:bha:shyam lectures in various conferences of Ubhaya Ve:da:ntham in Vijayawada and Vijayangaram. Because of acquaintance with modern lecturing styles, Swa:mi used to prepare 'Lecture Sheets' prior to the conference. Many such works are waiting to be published. Lecturing on Thiruppa:vai and Sri:Ra:ma:yanam are usual pastimes of Sri Swa:mi. Many lectures were also based on Thelugu literature. Sri:ma:n Thirumala Ra:ma:nuja:cha:rya Swa:mi has hereditary disciples. By giving Panchasamska:ras to them, Swa:mi confers the welfare of all those disciples. By thought, by body and by deeds Sri Swa:mi is exemplary. Even today, Swami enjoys both learning and teaching. Swa:mi combines and coordinates both the modern and oriental approaches in a very balanced way.

After retirement of official job, Swa:mi taught sanskrit to students for about 8 years in Hyderabad. Now, swa:mi is retired from those services. Even in this elderly age, Sri Swa:mi analyses and enjoys the Ubhaya Ve:da:ntha works and teaches all those who are aspiring to learn.
