Coconut Rice Prasadam (by Sreerangasayi, Hyderabad)

Ingredients
- Love for govinda
- Rice - 1 cup
- Freshly grated coconut - 1 cup
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Split Black Gram - 2 tbsp
- Red chillies – 2
- Green chillies - 2 ( slit vertically )
- Curry leaves – few
- Asafetida - ½ tsp
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Cook rice & cool the same.
- Heat oil in a pan, temper mustard seeds, red chillies & add split black gram.
- Fry till light brown, add green chillies, asafetida, coconut & curry leaves. Fry uniformly for a minute.
- Remove from heat, add cooled rice & salt. Mix well.
