saggubiyyam (Sabudhana) Upma:
Recipe by: Sri:mathi Ma:dhuri Mo:han, denver USA.
Ingredients: - Saggubiyyam (as much as needed)
- mustard seeds, Jeera (1/4 spoon each), chennadal, urad dal (1 spoon each)
- Few vegetables like potato, peas, tomato etc..
- Curd
Soak sabudana in curd with curd just so that, sabudhana sinks in it.
Leave it over night.
Next day, the sabudhana will swell.
Cut and boil a few vegetables.
Take oil in pan and put popu. When the mustard splits, put the veggies and fry the veggies a little. In the end put the sabudhana and mix well with the veggies. Donot fry the sabudhana for very long. Just a little so it mixes with the veggies.. Put the salt as required and mix. The dish is ready.
