Recipe By: Sri:ma:n Sathako:pan Ra:ma:nuja Da:san (Ka:nthan)

Ingredients:

Urid Dal with Skin 2 Cups
Black Pepper Powder 1 table spoon
Salt to taste
Ghee 1 tea Spoon
Oil (coconut/ rice Bran/ Sunflower) for deep frying

Procedure:

Soak Urid dal for 1 hour. Remove all water and grind it along with salt and black pepper powder to a thick dough. The dough should not be smooth; there should be remains of crushed urid dal. This dough is mixed well with ghee. Make the dough into small balls, once the pan with oil is heated press these small balls into small discus and deep fry in oil.
