Pal podavalanga (mamunikal Special)

Recipe : Sri:ma:n Satako:pa Ra:ma:nuja Da:sa (Ka:nthan)

Moong Dal (Green Gram) 1/2 cup
Snake Gourd (Podalangay or Potlakaaya) 1 Medium Size
jaggery 1.5 cup
Black Pepper 1/2 Tea Spoon
Coconut grated 2 Table spoon
Milk 1/2 cup

Cook the green gram and while it is more than half cooked add chopped snake gourd and continue boiling until the snake gourd is cooked well. Add jaggery and once it is mixed well add black pepper and milk boil under low flame just to remove raw taste of milk and add grated coconut and mix well.
