Chow Chow Dal

Ingredients

Love for Go:vinda
channa (split bengal gram) Dal (1/4 sppon)
Urad (White Split Gram Bean Dal) (1/4 spoon)
Mustard seeds (1/4 spoon)
Jeera (Cumin Seeds) (1/4 spoon)
green chillies (3 small)
Chow chow cut into small pieces
ingua (asofotedia)
Moon dal (1/2 cup)
coconut grated (1 laddle)
pepper (1/4 spoon)

Procedure:

Cook the moong Dal and the chow chow pieces together in a pan with water or in a pressure cooker. The dal must not become like a paste when cooking. So cook it either with water in pan or in pressure cooker such that it does not become pasty.

After boiling, pour the contents in another pan and add a cup of water in it.While still on heat, add salt and mix well.

Grind the following and keep aside.
grated cocunut
green chillies
pepper (1/4 spoon)
Jeera (Cumin Seeds)

Take a small pan with oil and when the oil is heated add mustard, channa (split bengal gram) dal, urad dal. Let it roast. add the grinded content and ingua
in the end. Put all this content, into the other pan containing dal and chow chow. mix well.
Garnish with Coriander leaves.
