Dear Devotees,
*With the Mangalasasanams of HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, Jeeyar Educational Trust New Jersey / New York is inviting all the devotees to gather together to perform Sri Goda Ranganatha Kalyanam under the guidance of our resident Acharya Sriman Surendra Acharya Swamy.

time: Jan 19th, 2008 from 9.30am to 2pm

This is the conclusion of month-long Dhanurmasam that started on Dec 16th 2007. As mother Goda Devi mentioned, it is highly recommended to perform these type of divine activities together. This is the Samoohika Kalyana Mahotsavam. All devotees can participate. The puja material (flowers, prasadam, fruits, kumkum, turmeric, candle, tumbler, spoon etc.) will be supplied at the hall. You can bring your perumal (idols for worship) if you have. *There is no donation to perform the puja. * We have few Goda Krishna Kalyanam kits, if anybody wants to purchase.

Your voluntary contributions to JET Activities like JIVA, Blind school and junior college, Tribal schools, child sponsorships, Cancer awareness and screening activities, environment protection activities etc. are welcome. Please make checks payable to JET USA Inc. and mention the purpose in memo and deposit at desk. All donations are tax deductible.

9.30 am: Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Chanting

10.00 am: Competitions for three categories -

• Muggulu
• Gobbemmalu
• Krishna figurine

10.30 am: Play - Goda Kalyanam - by Prajna Students

11.15 am: Samoohika Puja - Sri Goda Ranganatha Kalyanam
with the guidance of Sriman Surendra Acharya Swamy

12.45 pm: Prasadam
2.00 pm: Program ends

Details about the Competitions:
These are open to girls and boys of all ages. Three best in each category will be selected.
Muggulu: draw Muggulu drawing on a white sheet of paper with colors if you wish. Use your imagination. One sheet per child. Write your name on the sheet.
Gobbemmalu : make these with pay dough or clay. You can decorate them with flowers, beads etc. Bring them in a paper plate with your name on it.

Krishna Figurine: make the Krishna figurine with play dough or clay. Decorate with color and ornaments with your imagination. Bring it in a paper plate with your name on it.

NOTE: When you enter the hall, please place them on the table that is allocated for it. Judges will select the best three in each category. Do not forget to write your name. There will be gifts for the top three in each category.

To participate in the Prasadam preparations, please contact Smt. Padmaja Vudata (609-275-6862) .

Please bring your friends and families, and participate in the Kalyanam Celebrations. We become the parents of the divine bride, Sri Goda Devi, and we do the Kanyadanam by offering our daughter to Lord Ranganatha. Let us perform this divine activity and take blessings from Lord and our Acharyas.
