HH Srimath Paramahamse:thya:di  Kaliyan Va:na:ma:lai Ra:ma:nuja Jeeyar sva:mi 's 75 th Thirunakshatra Maho:tsavam was celebrated at Thiruvallike:ni on the second of December 2007.  Organised by the Sri: Vanamamalai Mutt , Triplicane , the thirunakshatram sounded a big day in every sense.

Greatness of Sri Sva:mi was to the fore   at several instances as thousands of devotees shocked Triplicane with their turnout . The day was also graced by the Mahanths of the UttaraThothadri Mutts and various Jeeyar sva:mi:s of the samprada:yam .

It is impossible to describe what went great first . The grand aruLicheyal gho:shti was divinity itself. The mangala:shasanam of Sri:Vanamamalai  Jeeyar sva:mi of Lord Pa:rthasa:rathy was a special event in itself. Sva:mi was extremely patient to stop at each and every house in the temple lanes and accept Ha:rathy from the devotees who thronged all over the ma:da streets. Sva:mi offered blessings and prasa:dam to each and every person who had gathered for paying respects to Sva:mi.

Floral respects were sent from Divyade:sams, Abhima:na sthalams and temples round the length and breadth of the nation . Thousands witnessed the glorious event of watching the respects being showered on Sri: Sva:mi. All the Divyade:sams were offered return respects by the Vanamamalai Mutt.

Then Sri :Jeeyar sva:mi offered Sri:pa:da theertam to the devotees. For a while devotees forgot it was Vanamamalai Mutt and were reminded of Tirumala ! Some people took as much as 4 hours to get Sripa:da theertham standing in the long queue . Sri:Jeeyar sva:mi patiently graced all the devotees with blessings and Sri:pa:datheertham . Sva:mi was giving Sri:pa:da theertham for hours together to the stunningly high number of disciples who had rushed to  the Mutt from across the globe.

Sa:rrumurai took place in a grand manner and Thadeeya:ra:dhanam also took place. All the devotees and disciples were given the holy food by the Mutt authorities. While getting Sri:pa:da theertham , many were amused and delighted , when some people standing in the queue to be blessed by Jeeyar sva:mi began to shout "govinda! govinda!' as they do at thirumala. It is no exaggeration to say , that the Thirunakshatram celebrations have marked one of the biggest events ever in the history of Sri Vaishnavism.
