Celebration of the 75th year of manifestation of HH Va:nama:malai Jeeyar sva:mi(announcement):

The 75th year of appearance of HH Sri: Kaliyan Va:nama:malai Ra:ma:nuja Jeeyar sva:mi will be celebrated in Tiruvallike:Ni (triplicane) at the premises of the monastery here between the 1st and 3rd of December 2007. With the grace of the preceptors , the event has been scheduled to be celebrated in a grand manner.

The schedule for the celebrations is as follows:

December 1 : (4 pm) The heads of the monasteries of Sri: Va:nama:malai mutt(or Tho:tha:dri mutt) in north India will deliver lectures at the Triplicane monastery . The great scholar, Sri U Ve Velukkudi Krishnan sva:mi will deliver a discourse in tamizh highlighting contents of the lectures of the mahants from North India.

December 2: Day of the completion of 75th year of Sri Sva:miji:
9 am : Jeeyar Sva:mi visits Lord Pa:rthasa:rathy temple and offers prayers to the Lord.
5 pm : Preceptors(Jeeyars) from various Sri:vaishnava monasteries will grace the Triplicane monastery for the evening programs.
9 pm : Jeeyar sva:mi will grace the temple streets in a palanquin.

December 3:
5 pm  : Svami will grace the audience at Music academy hall, chennai with a speech.
6.45 pm : Dr. Vaijayanthi ma:la ba:li will enact a dance(bharatana:tyam) show based on Thirumankai a:zhva:r's 'Siriya thirumadal'.
