Today is truly an occassion to be celebrated with lights in all our houses. 52 years ago, a beacon of light emerged as hope for the suffering mankind to direct them towards the ultimate goal of everyone's life. No one can suffer after experiencing that gracious smile of Paramahamsa Parivra:jaka A:cha:ray Sri Sri Chinna Sri:ma:n Na:ra:yana Jeeyar Swa:miji.

On the holy day of Di:pa:vali, on the holy star of Swa:thi people all across the globe celebrated the Thirunakshathram festival of Sri Swa:miji in jubiliation. This year, Swa:miji graced Chennai during this auspicious day. Today around a 2000 people directly and many more thousands at their respective homes celebrated Swa:miji's thirunakshathram.

Close on the fringes of the festival of lights , the great light of our tradition cast a sphere of illumination driving serenity in the one of the most frenzied corners of the city here.

The grand celebrations pivoted around Sri: Sva:miji's Thirunakshatram were aimed at making an impact in the Ve:da:ntic world and the numerous other faculties of our tradition with respect to the importance of safeguarding and adhering to our spiritual heritage in the form of the scriptures.

As sva:miji has reiterated and reinforced the principle in everyone several times regarding the need and importance of such an endeavor, His divine Thirunakshatram equivalently hallmarked the cardinal principles of recognizing and rejuvenating the domain of scriptural prominence. Quite soon after the auspicious worships and blessing of the congregation of thousands of devotees in the morning , the main events unfolded .

Sva:miji's awarding of the Jeeyar Puraska:r to Brahma Sri Dendukuri Agnihotra Ghanapathi Garu, the release of  Mythrayani Samhita (3rd part) and  Rig Veda - Ithareya Brahmanam for the Veda books section, Upanishad Bhashyam from Vedanta and  Sri Vishnu Tilakam (Pa:nchara:thra A:gama Samhita) from Agamas outlined the commitment and advancements made possible by the holy light of Jeeyar Sva:mi.

As Sva:mi Ra:ma:nuja rightly establishes, its important to perform one's duties without attachment towards fruit. Its also essential to develop the knowledge of devotion . It is so very essential to serve and worship the Lord. The Jeeyar sva:mi stood to this three fold significations by bringing to the use of the world and also protecting the three sources namely the Ve:da , Upanishads and The Pa:nchara:tra.

The Thirunakshtra maho:tsav would have only made everyone subscribe to the view that the realization of objectives of Sri:Sva:miji will go a long way in adding energy to the scriptural cognizance of souls. Deepavali is a festival of lights , where light destroys darkness. The Thirunakshatram of Sva:miji is also deepavali, for it has paved means to remove the darkness of ignorance with the light of the scriptures.
