Thirumangai A:zhwa:r, Thiruppana:zhwa:r, and Swa:mi Nampillai Thirunakshathrams in Srirangam

Thirumangai a:zhva:r conferred auspiciousness (mangalasasanam) to Namperuma:l (the procession Paragon of Lord Rangana:tha in Srirangam) at Kizhappadi (in srirangam) at around 5.30 AM. and then proceeded to the sanctums of Sri:Rangana:yaki, A:nda:l and Namma:zhva:r. Sathumurai was concluded at 7.00 AM with Thirunedunthandakam (divya Prabandam graced by Thirumangai A:zhwa:r). After finishing the nithyappadi Sathumurai at Ra:ma:nuja's sanctum, Go:shti (congregation) proceeded to Nampillai's sanctum for the Sathumurai. Thiruva:yimo:zhi sa:thumurai finished by 8. 15 AM at Nampillai's sanctum.

At the Uraiyu:r (a divyadesam adjacent to Srirangam), the birth place of Thiruppa:na:zhwa:r,ten days celebrations of Thirunakshathram took place with Na:la:yira Divya Prabandam recitation.

At Koyil Thirupana:zhva:r's sanctum: divyaprabandham is recited during the sanctum of a:zhwa:r in Srirangam during the thirunakshathram celebrations. On the ThiruNakshathram day, Upade:sa rathnama:la and Thiruvayimo:zhi nu:trandhadi (compositions of Sri Manava:la Maha:muni) are recited for the pleasure of a:zhwar.
