On the eve of the thirunakshatram of Sri Ramanuja, many Utsavams have been organised in the Narasapuram Koil since 10 days. During the night of May 8th,Bhagavad Ra:ma:nuja's Rathotsavam is conducted.

May 8th

On May 8th Evening, the Li:la vibhuti Utsavam took place, in which the procession of Udayavar was taken inside the temple sanctum. The UnjalSeva of the utsava moorthy of Ramanuja was organised beautifully with an arrangement that Udayavar sees
the divyamangala vigraham of himself in a mirror placed in front of him.

May 9th

In the morning session of the thirunakshatram day, the Utsava moorthy of Udayavar first visited Manavala Maamuni's sannidhi and gave the "Bhahumathi" (Sataari) (Mangalasasanams) there. Then, went to the Yathirajavalli Thayaar's sannidhi and the shrine of Alwar (Nammalvar), and took the bhahumathis from them. He next arrived at the shrines of Swami Pillai Lokachaarya and Kurathalwan. Giving the bhahumathi to the purvachaaryaas over there, Udayavar visited the sannidhi of Andal finally and took the bhahumathi from her.

After that, the moolavar of Ramanuja had the Thirumanjana Mahotsavam, which is celebrated only once in a year, on this auspicious Thirunakshatram day. The thadiyaaraadhana for about 100 bhagavaatas was organised by Kida:mbi Venkata:cha:rya swami, the stha:na:cha:rya of the Koil and later graced all with a discourse on Bhagavad Ra:ma:nuja. In the evening grandha ma:la utsavam was conducted.
