Aacharya Sarvabhouma Koti Kannikadhana Sri Lakshmi Kumara Thatha Desikan Thirunakshatram is celebrated on Tamil Karthigai month Anusham Nakshathram. This day falls on NOV 25th 2011.Only on this day of Nov 25th, 2011 we have all allied Uthsavams of Vajrangi Sevai in lieu of Sri Thatha Desikan Thirunakshathram for Their Divine Mercy Sri Perundevi Thayar and Sri Varadharaja Perumal of Kanchipuram. The Divine Couple stay at Sri Desikan and Sri Thatha Desikan Sannidhi for the entire day and then all grandeous Purappadu, Thirumanjanam, Aacharya Kataksham and Mariyadhai, Veda Dhivya Prabandha Satrumurai, Thiruvedi Elundharulal, Thiruparivattam, Thirumaalai anugrahithal happens.

'Vajrangi Sevai' for Sri Varadharaja Perumal of Kanchipuram happens only on two days in an year. The first one on Sri Lakshmi Kumara Thatha Desikan's Thirunakshatram and the other one on Vaikunda Ekadesi Day. At Kanchipuram temple, Sri Thayar accompanies Perumal for the Thirunakshatram of Alwars and Aacharyas only if the day falls on a Friday. But for Sri Lakshmi Kumarar's Thirunakshatram irrespective of the day in which it happens, Sri Thayar arrives at the Sannidhi of Her son Sri Lakshmi Kumarar along with Sri Perumal in Vajrangi Sevai. This is an unique feature and a Mahathvam of Sri Lakshmi Kumara Thatha Desikan.
